Nador West Med port prepares for first commercial voyages

The eastern terminal of the Nador West Med port has successfully completed its operational tests and is preparing to receive its first commercial voyages.
The tests included a trial voyage under real conditions to check equipment readiness, team coordination and the effectiveness of port procedures, and were completed ahead of the planned schedule.
The port is expected to strengthen the logistics capacity of the Oriental region and connect it to major international maritime flows, as it is designed for large vessels and significant cargo volumes.
The project includes industrial zones, logistics platforms and road networks, which could lower export costs and improve companies' access to European and international markets.
