Ferry schedules

Ferries to Almería, Motril and Sète run more frequently from June to September. Book crossings early, keep your booking reference, and confirm live departures with the port operator at Nador Port (Beni Ansar) before travelling.

Beni Ansar border

Dedicated Marhaba lanes and welcome pavilions at Beni Ansar speed up formalities for Moroccans living abroad. Keep your passport and residence card accessible for inspection.

Documents

Passport, residence card and vehicle documents (carte grise, insurance, green card) are checked at the border. Keep the originals ready and a copy in the glove box.

Travel tips

  • Travel outside peak weekend hours to shorten queues at the port.
  • Declare any goods above the duty-free allowance on the red channel.
  • Carry local currency and a charged phone; e-sims and exchange counters are available at the port.
