Nador elections: programme versus money

Nador elections: programme versus money
As the elections approach, the Moroccan Free Party in Nador province asks whether competition still rests on programmes and competence or whether money and influence now shape the electoral map.
Provincial coordinator Youyou Mohamed says the party chose to build its presence from the grassroots, away from buying loyalties, arguing that real political work begins with organisation and trust before reaching institutions.
He believes recent party switches and resignations raise questions about some candidates' motives, while residents expect debate on education, health and employment.
He stresses that non-participation is a stance tied to building the organisation, while possible irregularities will be monitored through legal channels, and urges young people to vote and choose competence.
