Five-year-old child drowns in a pool in Bouarg

The commune of Bouarg in Nador province witnessed a tragic incident on Wednesday 9 September, when a five-year-old child drowned in one of the area's swimming pools.
According to available information, the child drowned under circumstances that have not yet been fully clarified, before an intervention was made to pull him from the water.
The competent authorities have opened a judicial investigation under the supervision of the public prosecutor's office to establish the exact circumstances of the incident and any possible responsibilities.
