The regional branch of the Constitutional Union party in Nador is preparing to hold its regional congress next Sunday, as part of completing the party's structures and strengthening its presence in the local political scene.
Proceedings will begin at six in the evening, with political and civil society figures and party members attending.
Party secretary-general Mohamed Joudar appointed well-known political figure Mohamadi Benali to head the Nador regional branch.
Observers say the choice gives the organisation fresh momentum, amid the need to restructure party work and strengthen dialogue with citizens and local actors.
The congress is expected to shape the next phase and reorganise the party across the province.
