Weekly shipping line links Nador port to Portugal
WEC Lines has launched a weekly maritime service linking the port of Nador to the Portuguese port of Setúbal, opening a new route for Moroccan exports to European markets.
The connection allows reaching Portugal in no more than three days, with the possibility of continuing to European ports such as Rotterdam and Antwerp.
This route stands out as a logistics option to cut road transport costs and bypass obstacles on European roads, especially for agricultural exports and refrigerated containers.
It coincides with preparations for the Nador West Med port complex to enter its operational phase.
