Eastern terminal at Nador West Med port ready to operate

West Med Container Terminal, the company operating the eastern terminal of the Nador West Med port, announced that all operational preparations were completed ahead of schedule.
The work covered site development, equipment installation, activation of systems and procedures, and the recruitment and training of teams.
A trial call under real conditions tested the effectiveness of operations and coordination between teams and systems.
The company says the tests confirm the terminal can handle the world's largest container ships, strengthening the port's position as a strategic platform in the Mediterranean.
