Body of Martyr Hamza Zaam Transferred from Al Hoceima to Ksar El Kebir

The body of security guard Hamza Zaam left Tuesday afternoon, September 8, the Mohammed VI Regional Hospital in Ait Youssef Ou Ali, after he died from injuries sustained during a security operation in district 4 of Imzouren, Al Hoceima Province.
The body was transferred to Ksar El Kebir, his hometown, for burial in the presence of his family and colleagues.
Zaam was a member of the anti-gang brigade of the regional security of Al Hoceima and was participating in a joint operation with the Royal Gendarmerie to arrest a suspect of serious crimes.
He was wounded by gunfire, as was a technician responsible for opening doors, before the suspect was arrested.
The Director General of National Security decided on an exceptional posthumous promotion.
