Al Hoceima bids farewell to duty martyr Hamza El Zaam in solemn funeral

The city of Al Hoceima witnessed a solemn funeral today for the transfer of the body of duty martyr Hamza El Zaam, who died from injuries sustained during a security intervention against a dangerous criminal.
The body was transferred from Mohammed VI Hospital in Al Hoceima in the presence of security officials and members of the national police and royal gendarmerie.
The procession headed to Ksar El Kebir, the deceased's hometown, where he was buried with his family and colleagues.
El Zaam was injured during a joint operation with the gendarmerie to arrest a dangerous individual, which escalated into an armed confrontation.
