The court of first instance in Al Hoceima sentenced a defendant to eight years in prison and a fine of 20,000 dirhams for drug-related offenses.
He was prosecuted for possession of hard drugs, trafficking, facilitating their use, unjustified possession of narcotics, insubordination, and corruption of a minor.
The court also ordered the destruction of seized drugs and the confiscation of the money and electronic scale for the state.
In the civil case, he was ordered to pay 2,758,900 dirhams to the customs and indirect taxes administration.
