The National Institute of Geophysics recorded on Tuesday an earthquake of magnitude 3.4 on the Richter scale off the coast of the Driouch province.
The tremor occurred at 11:41 a.m.
local time, at a depth of 27 kilometers, at 35.545 degrees north latitude and 3.628 degrees west longitude.
The national seismic monitoring and alert network reported that the epicenter was at sea, and no damage or losses were reported.
This earthquake is part of the usual seismic activity in the region, which occasionally experiences light tremors.
