Exceptional promotion for martyr Hamza Zaam after his killing in Imzouren

The Director General of National Security decided to grant an exceptional promotion to security officer Hamza Zaam, who died as a martyr during a security operation in Imzouren, in the province of Al Hoceima.
While participating in the arrest of a dangerously wanted individual, aged 25, the suspect opened fire with a hunting rifle, causing Zaam's death from his injuries.
A technician was also wounded.
The suspect was the subject of 20 national arrest warrants for drug trafficking, attempted murder, and forming a criminal gang.
Security forces managed to neutralize the danger and arrest the perpetrator.
The public prosecutor opened a judicial investigation to clarify the circumstances of the incident and identify potential ramifications of criminal networks.
