A driver was killed and several people were injured in a serious traffic accident that occurred on Sunday evening, September 6, in the douar Arkan, in the commune of Bni Gmil, in the province of Al Hoceima.
According to initial information, the driver lost control of his vehicle under unclear circumstances.
The authorities have opened an investigation.
Royal Gendarmerie, local authorities, and an ambulance arrived at the scene.
The injured were taken to the emergency department, while the body of the deceased was transferred to the morgue of the Mohammed VI Regional Hospital in Ait Youssef Ou Ali for an autopsy, ordered by the public prosecutor.
The investigation continues to determine the exact causes.
