Activists in Al Hoceima discuss response to Spanish provocations

The city of Al Hoceima hosted yesterday a meeting of several activists dedicated to developments related to the cities of Ceuta and Melilla and what participants called repeated Spanish provocations against Morocco.
The meeting was an opportunity to discuss ways to respond to these developments and to stress the need to address them while preserving national sovereignty and Moroccan interests, as well as to examine the possibility of launching civil initiatives to express rejection of what they called Spanish escalation.
This meeting comes in a context of particular sensitivity in Moroccan-Spanish relations, especially regarding the file of the two occupied cities.
Participants stressed the importance of unifying positions and avoiding any reaction outside the peaceful and legal framework, insisting that the defense of national causes remains a collective responsibility requiring awareness and vigilance.
