Teachers in Al Hoceima protest over training session conditions
A training session for middle school teachers from pioneering institutions was held at the regional training center in Al Hoceima on September 4-5, but participants denounced the organization conditions.
According to a statement by some teachers, a breakfast deemed poor quality and water bottles near their expiry date were served, prompting protests.
On the second day, teachers found the meal worse, refused it, and stopped the training.
The removal of lunch also caused discontent, as it was provided in a previous session at Ait Kamra middle school.
Protesters demand an investigation into the conditions, identification of the catering responsible, quality control criteria, reasons for removing lunch, and dialogue with teacher representatives.
They say their action aims to defend teacher dignity and ensure decent conditions, warning that improvisation could harm the school year.
