Douars in Al Hoceima suffer repeated drinking water cuts

Several douars in Al Hoceima province suffer, during the summer, from disruptions in drinking water supply and repeated cuts, despite protests and complaints from residents.
Affected areas include the center of Bni Hadifa and the douars of Mechkour, Boustate, Iqlaten, Ahadouthen, Aharounen, Tazmourine, and Tamarkalt, as well as other douars without water networks.
The Socialist group in the House of Representatives questioned Minister of Equipment and Water, Nizar Baraka, about the causes of persistent cuts in the Bni Hadifa commune and urgent measures to ensure regular supply, as well as the existence of a program to expand the network and connect all deprived douars, with deadlines for water projects.
