An official at the National Institute of Geophysics stated that the recent earthquakes in the province of Al Hoceima are normal and should not cause concern.
He explained that the region experiences moderate seismic activity from time to time, and that the recorded tremors are of low magnitude and pose no danger to the population.
He assured that the institute continues to monitor the seismic situation permanently.
