Activists in Al Hoceima plan response to Spanish provocations in Ceuta and Melilla
The committee demanding the liberation of Ceuta and Melilla and their islands held a meeting in Al Hoceima with dozens of activists, including figures from the two occupied cities, to respond to Spain's announcement of a planned visit by King Felipe VI.
Committee head Yahya Yahya said the meeting aimed to prepare field actions in the occupied areas and neighboring Moroccan provinces, without revealing decisions, kept secret until the right time.
Participants recalled human and political events, including the death of a Moroccan denied medicine in Ceuta and the tearing of the Moroccan flag during a Spanish protest.
These developments follow Madrid's protest against Moroccan statements describing the two cities as occupied.
Yahya believes Moroccan demands have not fallen, and the drop in protests means a latency nearing its end, citing consistent royal speeches.
He also mentioned remote coordination with activists inside the two cities for their safety.
