Parents' association urges Al Hoceima governor to fix Louta middle school issues

The parents' association of Louta middle school has sent a letter to the governor of Al Hoceima province, demanding urgent intervention to address problems hindering the 2026/2027 school year.
Complaints include a shortage of teachers for social studies and French, and the absence of a library supervisor, leaving students unsupervised during breaks.
The association also noted the lack of preparation for school transport, despite classes starting on September 7, causing concern among families.
It also raised the issue of the main gate, blocked by a dispute with the landowner, and the lack of equipment in the science laboratory, preventing students from conducting practical experiments.
The association called for an extraordinary general assembly to discuss these issues and urged the governor to pressure relevant authorities to fill gaps, ensure transport, and improve infrastructure, to avoid family discontent and ensure a stable school start.
