As part of preparations for the upcoming elections, the Mejaït family in Nador province has announced its support for the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM), a move reflecting new alliances within the party led by Fouzi Lekjaa.
This support also extends to Driouch province, where Hassan Mejaït appears on Aziz Meknif's list, either as head or as a running mate.
This presence draws on Hassan Mejaït's reputation and connections in the Boufarrakouch region and several other areas of Driouch, which could boost the list's chances in a competitive electoral race.
This alignment comes as political forces reorganize their strategies, focusing on figures with grassroots presence and the ability to attract voters.
Lekjaa's trajectory within the party also appears to influence local actors' calculations, who aspire to renew political work and regain citizens' trust.
