Amine Tahraoui, Minister of Health and Social Protection, made a working visit to the provinces of Nador and Driouch, covering several health facilities and hospital projects.
He inspected services at Al Hassani Hospital in Nador, visited the construction site of the new provincial hospital in Selouane, with a capacity of 250 beds and a cost of 560 million dirhams, which is about 80% complete and expected to be finished by February 2026.
He also visited the provincial hospital in Driouch and the proximity hospital in Midar.
The minister listened to health professionals who called for the provision of medicines and medical supplies, equipment maintenance, and adequate staffing.
Tahraoui assured that the ministry would resolve all problems in the near future.
