Marhaba 2026 Operation: Smooth Departure of Moroccans Living Abroad from Al Hoceima Port
The return phase of Moroccans living abroad to their countries of residence continues under good conditions at Al Hoceima port, as part of the Marhaba 2026 operation, thanks to a comprehensive mobilization of security, administrative, and health systems.
During a sea crossing from Al Hoceima to Motril in southern Spain, intense commitment was observed from port authorities, customs, police, and the shipping company to ensure smooth passenger flow.
Access to the ferry is through two separate checkpoints for foot passengers and drivers, facilitating traffic management and reducing waiting times.
Medical teams provided close healthcare to the diaspora, in coordination with the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, which deployed teams of social workers and doctors.
Passengers expressed satisfaction with the quality of services and reception, praising the smooth passage.
Monday evening's crossing carried 942 passengers and 201 vehicles, including 193 private cars.
