Nador West Med Raises MAD 2.2 Billion via Bond Issue
Nador West Med has announced the success of a private placement for the issuance of ordinary bonds totaling MAD 2.2 billion, supported by Moroccan financial institutions including Valoris Corporate Finance, Valoris Securities, Capital Trust Finance, Capital Trust Securities, and CIH Bank.
The operation aims to finance the development of the Nador West Med port project, which is strategic for strengthening the kingdom's port and logistics infrastructure.
The port is expected to play a key role in enhancing Morocco's competitiveness on international maritime routes.
The success of the issuance reflects institutional investors' confidence in the project, due to its solid financial foundations and growth prospects.
