Initiative to Protect Children in Nador from Migration Violence

In the city of Nador, young people from the association “Rami for Humanitarian Initiatives” launched an initiative to help unaccompanied migrant minors who suffer from violence and exploitation on the streets.
Volunteers provide food aid, clothing, and haircuts, and try to convince them to return to their families.

The association contacts the children's families and covers their transport costs.
The association's president, Ilyas Meziane, says that the city's residents support the initiative.
Meanwhile, Mohamed Ben Aissa, president of the Northern Observatory for Human Rights, describes these initiatives as a “burning candle” in the absence of government, and calls for studying the causes of minors' migration and developing their regions of origin.
