The body of an unidentified young man was found on Sunday afternoon, March 29, on Miami beach in the commune of Beni Ensar, after being washed ashore by the waves.
According to initial information, the victim is believed to be in his early twenties, and the body showed advanced decomposition, suggesting it had been in the water for more than a week.
The body was transferred to the provincial hospital in Nador, wearing swimwear, pending an autopsy ordered by the public prosecutor's office.
Security services have opened an investigation to identify the victim and determine the circumstances of his death.
