The Royal Gendarmerie elements in Imzouren seized approximately 1.2 kg of cocaine following a traffic accident on the national road linking Al Hoceima and Nador.
The accident involved a motorcycle and a light car.
During the inspection, the gendarmes found the cocaine hidden on the motorcycle, ridden by a person from the Ben Taïeb area with a criminal record, who was seriously injured in the accident.
An investigation was opened under the supervision of the competent prosecutor's office to determine the source of the drugs, their destination, and the people involved.
This operation is part of the ongoing efforts of the Royal Gendarmerie to combat drug trafficking networks in the region.
