The leader of the Istiqlal Party, Noureddine Midyane, denied the information spread by some websites that he had left Al Hoceima for Fez or abandoned the party.
He told the party newspaper that his main residence has been in Fez for more than four years and that his voting there is natural and legal.
He stressed that his connection to the Al Hoceima constituency is close and continuous, and that his political presence in the region spans decades.
He also categorically denied rumors of a break with the Istiqlal Party, considering the party as his political home.
He called for verification and accuracy before publishing inaccurate information about people's political careers.
