Traffic Accident Leads to Seizure of 1.2 kg of Cocaine by Al Hoceima Gendarmerie

A traffic accident on the national road linking Al Hoceima and Nador led to the discovery and seizure of 1.2 kg of cocaine.
According to local sources, the discovery of the drugs occurred during the inspection following the accident, when Royal Gendarmerie officers found the cocaine hidden on a motorcycle involved in the accident.
The sources added that the motorcycle was driven by a person from the Ben Taïeb region, with a criminal record, who was arrested on suspicion of involvement in this case.
The competent services have opened an investigation under the supervision of the public prosecutor to determine the source and destination of the drugs and to identify other possible suspects.
