Chinese firm Ningbo Boway Alloy Material has decided to move an industrial project from China to the Betoya industrial acceleration zone in Nador province, with a total investment of about 150 million dollars.
The project targets annual output of 30,000 tonnes of electronic alloys for smart devices, semiconductors and electric vehicles.
The company redirected more than 59% of previously raised funds to the Moroccan site, after a feasibility review and the dropping of a Vietnam option at the request of international clients.
Completion is expected to take about 36 months, with operations starting by the end of 2028 and annual revenue exceeding 2.7 billion yuan.
