The parents' association, in coordination with the Sanabil private education school in Selouane, Nador province, held a ceremony marking International Women's Day, dedicated to the school's teachers, assistants and cleaners.
The event opened with a Quran recitation, followed by a speech by the association praising the work of women in education.
Certificates of appreciation and flowers were handed to the female staff in recognition of their sacrifices for pupils' progress, before the gathering closed with a tea reception for those present.
