Al Hoceima: criminal rulings issued despite lawyers' strike

The criminal chamber of the Al Hoceima Court of Appeal issued two rulings in two criminal cases, the first since the lawyers' strike began, which is still ongoing and had already disrupted several hearings.
In the first case, the defendant faced charges of aggravated theft with a weapon, multiple perpetrators and a motor vehicle, kidnapping, unlawful detention and threats to commit a crime against persons, as well as violent sexual assault against a man and its attempted form, circulation of a composite of the victim's statements and image without consent, and unlawful processing of personal data.
The second case concerned a defendant charged with attempted aggravated theft at night and carrying a weapon in circumstances threatening the safety of people and property.
