A young man from Tamsint died in the morning of Thursday, 17 September 2026, in a fatal road accident in the Ajdir area, on the outskirts of the city of Al Hoceima.
According to consistent information, the victim was riding a motorcycle when he violently struck a waste container placed at the roadside, causing a severe head injury.
After being alerted, Royal Gendarmerie officers from the area, accompanied by Civil Protection teams, went to the scene and took the injured man, in critical condition, to the emergency department of the Mohammed VI Regional Hospital Centre in Aït Youssef Ouali.
The medical team made every effort to save his life, but he died from the severity of his injuries.
