Election boycott campaign blocked in Al Hoceima, arrests in Kenitra

Authorities again blocked the campaign of the Nahj Dimocrati Oumali party calling for a boycott of the 23 September legislative elections.
After Casablanca, Beni Mellal and Salé, the ban spread to Al Hoceima, where police stopped party members from distributing the boycott appeal and seized the leaflets.
In Kenitra, six members were detained during a distribution and later released, with their materials confiscated.
The party's Rabat regional office condemned the measures as a breach of free expression and demanded they stop.
