Human resources management at the Al Hoceima education directorate has entered a new phase of tension, amid growing criticism of how transfers and assignments are handled and a persistent shortage of teaching staff.
The provincial coordination of teachers and support staff accuses the directorate of what it calls improvised management, describing the results of the provincial transfer round as "sterile and disappointing" and denouncing unfilled vacancies and assignments made without clear criteria.
It demands the transfer round be reopened and the data corrected, warning of consequences for educational stability and threatening protest action.
