A young man in his twenties was found dead in his family home in douar Iqrarn, in the commune of Bni Ahmed Imoukzan near Al Hoceima, after taking his own life by hanging.
After being alerted, local authorities and Royal Gendarmerie officers went to the scene to examine the site and take the required legal measures.
The body was transferred to the morgue at the Mohammed VI regional hospital in Aït Youssef Ali for an autopsy on the instructions of the public prosecutor, while a judicial investigation was opened to clarify the circumstances.
