Mohamed Al-Hamouti, the PAM candidate for the Al Hoceima constituency, presented his parliamentary record during a meeting with residents of the province.
He stressed that the Constitution grants citizens the right to hold their representatives accountable for their positions, programmes and commitments.
He noted that a parliamentarian's constitutional duties are limited to legislation, oversight of government action and evaluation of public policies, pointing out that advocating for the province is not an original task under the representative model, but that local realities have forced MPs to make it a priority.
