The national union for public health in the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region has announced a protest outside the general directorate of the territorial health group in Tangier.
Health professionals are demanding a performance bonus, payment of outstanding dues and the recruitment of graduates from health training institutes.
The decision follows a regional bureau meeting that assessed one year of the health group's experience, noting a gap between promises and actual results, along with a persistent shortage of staff, equipment and medicines.
The union is calling for fair compensation for all professionals, settlement of on-call and duty allowances, and faster recruitment exams.
It rejects outsourcing of health tasks and criticises delays in professional examinations.
