Lakjaa: Guercif development runs through Nador port

Fouzi Lekjaa, a member of the PAM political bureau and minister delegate for the Budget, said at a party meeting in Guercif that the province's development runs through stronger links to the Mediterranean coast and the Nador West-Med port, alongside better health infrastructure and lasting solutions to the water problem.
He explained that the Mediterranean coast is a major development area and that opening Guercif to that axis widens investment opportunities and improves links to big economic centres.
He stressed the importance of stronger road links, announcing a motorway towards that axis.
On health, he urged a stronger offer and better services.
On water, he proposed expanding hill dams and studying a link to Nador's desalination plant.
He called on residents to turn out heavily for the 23 September vote.
