West Med Container Terminal, the concessionaire of the eastern terminal at Nador West Med port, has announced the completion of its operational readiness following a series of successful tests.
The development works, equipment, systems and operating procedures are now in place, along with recruited and trained teams.
A vessel was received during a trial berthing to verify the smooth running of operations and coordination between the various services.
This result, the outcome of months of preparation, confirms the terminal's ability to receive the world's largest container ships and strengthens the port's position as a strategic platform in the Mediterranean.
