Residents of the Jawahra neighbourhood in Selouane have protested against the installation of a large telecom antenna on the roof of a house in a densely populated area.
According to locals, the equipment was mounted at night without informing or consulting them.
They fear potential health risks, especially for children, given the nearby schools.
Civil society groups blame the operator and the authorities that authorised the installation without regard for residents' safety.
