The commune of Arkemane is experiencing persistent disruptions to drinking water supply after a new rupture in the main pipeline, recorded after an initial fault was repaired and the network restarted.
The regional multiservice company for the East says the rupture resulted from overlapping networks and difficult terrain, causing three leaks.
Three technical teams have been mobilised to continue field operations and fix the faults.
Supply is expected to resume gradually on Sunday morning once the network stabilises, and the company has apologised to customers.
