Selouane's local prison hosted cultural activities on Thursday afternoon as part of the national caravan for the Moroccan Sahara aimed at penitentiary institutions, under the slogan "The national cause: belonging and pride." The initiative falls within the programmes of the General Delegation for Prison Administration and Reintegration, which seek to rehabilitate inmates and strengthen their civic spirit.
Launched from Oujda's local prison, the caravan will cover 18 institutions across the kingdom before concluding at Dakhla's local prison, coinciding with the 46th anniversary of the Green March.
It includes cultural and sports activities as well as meetings and lectures led by teachers, experts and civil society actors.
