Selouane New Middle School held a ceremony honouring its top students for the 2018/2019 school year, attended by an official delegation from the provincial education directorate in Nador, local authorities, parents and teaching staff.
The event opened with Quran recitation and the flag salute, followed by a speech from the school's head, who welcomed guests and reviewed the year's main achievements.
Student Safaa El Azouzi was honoured for achieving the highest average in the middle-school cycle, 19.58, ranking first across the provincial directorate.
Incentive prizes were awarded to outstanding pupils and several administrative and teaching staff members were recognised.
The ceremony, featuring artistic performances, concluded with a tea reception for guests.
