A 15-year-old pupil died on the morning of Friday 25 February 2022 when he was struck by a train heading to Taourirt while crossing the tracks in the El Kachadia neighbourhood of Souane.
Security services and civil protection teams arrived promptly and transferred the body to the mortuary of Hassani hospital in Nador.
According to sources, the victim, an eighth-grade pupil, was known for his good conduct and strong academic results.
