The Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of the Oriental is preparing to open bids for a project to build thirty warehouses in the Selouane industrial park, at an estimated cost of more than 23 million dirhams.
The aim is to address the shortage of professional storage space and serve foreign trade operators, including those linked to business with Melilla.
The facilities will sit on the Nador-Oujda axis, in a zone dedicated to light industry, services and logistics.
The works coincide with the upcoming launch of the Nador West Med port, which could raise demand for logistics space away from the quays.
Success will depend on access conditions and the ability to attract scattered storage activity.
