A provincial commission visited the pachalik of Azghanghan in Nador province to investigate urban planning files that have sparked local debate, particularly suspicions of clandestine land subdivisions and the issuing of housing certificates under conditions allegedly not complying with legal procedures.
The commission includes the province's secretary-general, the head of internal affairs, the urban agency director, the city's pacha and the heads of urban planning and territorial collectivities.
Its tasks include reviewing documents and administrative files, visiting sites suspected of clandestine subdivision and hearing the relevant department's officials.
Findings will be sent to the competent authorities.
