A provincial committee in Nador province has launched an investigation into files related to urban planning in the municipality of Azghanghan, as part of monitoring compliance with legal procedures.
The committee heard the municipality's president, several department heads and the fourth vice-president regarding data on certain files.
It includes administrative officials such as the province's secretary-general, the head of the interior affairs division, the director of the urban agency, the city's pasha and the head of the urban planning department.
Its tasks include examining documents and administrative files as well as field visits to sites suspected of hosting illegal land subdivisions.
