Selouane provincial hospital reaches 80% construction progress
A meeting tracking work on the new provincial hospital in Selouane, Nador province, reported around 80% completion, attended by the regional health director, representatives of the national public facilities agency, the regional multi-service company, local authorities and the mayor of Selouane.
The regional official ordered faster completion of remaining works and strict adherence to deadlines, while speeding up tenders for biomedical equipment so services can launch in early 2026.
The hospital covers 34,200 square metres and will have 250 beds, with departments for surgery, general medicine, mother and child care, emergencies, intensive care, medical imaging, laboratory and pharmacy.
The road linking the N2 highway to the hospital is also progressing.
