A temporary bridge over the Oued Selouane in Nador was damaged by rising water levels after heavy rains, according to the provincial director of Equipment, Transport and Logistics.
The official clarified that the affected structure is not the main bridge under construction, but a temporary installation built to keep traffic moving during the works.
Equipment services and local authorities intervened immediately to rehabilitate it and ensure traffic between Nador and the commune of Bouarg continues safely, securing and signposting the site in coordination with the company carrying out the works.
