A motorcyclist died Thursday evening in a serious crash on the main road of Azghanghan, near Nador, opposite a fuel station.
According to local reports, a car and a motorcycle collided, leaving the rider with critical injuries; he died at the scene before medical teams could arrive.
Traffic police officers attended the site to inspect the scene and open an investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
The body was transferred to the mortuary of El Hassani Hospital in Nador.
The incident has revived concerns over the danger of this stretch of road, which sees repeated accidents, and renewed calls for road users to exercise caution and respect traffic safety rules.
